Summit Lake State Park

We had a great weekend (despite the rain and thunderstorms) at Summit Lake State Park located in eastern Indiana near Newcastle, Indiana. We tried out our new hammocks and Andrew discovered how much he loves them! We hunkered down under our canopy tent during an hour-long thunderstorm and played games at the picnic table. Summit Lake is a “no wake lake” which made for excellent kayaking on glass-smooth water! It was a quick weekend but a blast none the less!
